The Beginning of Winter is a time when the world has been shrouded in silver, and the chill of the early winter brings a piercing force to the rain. This set is inspired by the rainy season of early winter and the unique natural landscape that it creates. In this piece, diamonds fall like wintry raindrops on branches and rocks, forming a thin, smooth, glistening sheen. The frost builds into milky icicles which are at once crystal-clear and yet rich in color. The viewer cannot help but sigh at the mysteries of the season and the wonder of nature.
