Minor Snow is a very poetic time of year. Flakes of pure white snow float in sparse drifts between the trees and grass, subtle and unobtrusive, yet gradually building the atmosphere of the oncoming winter. The piece is inspired by the sleek white flurries of the Minor Snow solar period. The snowy white diamonds are perfectly integrated with the purple of the background objects. Together they form a quiet, harmonious landscape of early winter’s frost. Snow gently falls until it covers the earth, forming a pure promise of blessings for the coming year.
